UAB Laumetris produces and sells cultivators of continuous soil tilling, having various widths (from 2m to 8m). Cultivators are used for preplant loosening of soils of various mechanical composition at a set depth and for fallow care. A cultivator breaks up earth lumps on the surface of the soil, levels and loosens the surface. The soil can be tilled to a maximum depth of 120mm. The operating depth is regulated by changing the position of support wheels.
Operating parts of a cultivator: levelling board, spring tines with reversible shares, lump break-up rollers. The levelling board in the forward position evens the surface of the soil. Its working position is regulated by putting adjustment pins in a particular position. The levelling board is pressed against the soil by springs. The tines in the form of “S” are behind the levelling board, 110mm from each other. They till the soil’s surface. The lump break-up rollers at the rear of the cultivator break up remaining earth lumps, additionally level the surface of the soil and partially multiplex it.
The cultivators, having the working width of 6m and 8m, consist of a main frame and two wings, which are folded using the hydraulic system.
The working speed of the cultivators is up to 12 km/h.
