UAB Laumetris sells mounted drum mowers of various working widths (from 1.35 to 3.30 m). These mowers are designed for cutting fresh grass. Easily-preserved constant cutting height allows for a good growing of grass. The cutting height, set in the factory at 5.9cm, can be regulated with the use of spacing rings. The hay mowers have a firm construction, their body corresponds to the EU norms in the field of stone test (PN-EN-745). The drum mowers, offered by us, include hydro cylinders, which are used for lifting up the mower into a transport position. When operating these mowers, power transmission shafts with protective couplings must be used.
The drum mowers, sold by us, can be equipped with the conditioner. Using such a machine allows the hay to dry out several times faster, there is no need for turning it. This leads to a reduced number of passes by agricultural machines and hence significant economic benefits. Due to the “breathing” of hay, when using the conditioner, less nutritional components of the grass are lost. Thereby the drum mowers produce optimal conditioned forage, quickly and evenly drying to ensure the best crop quality.
Drum mowers can be mounted in front of a tractor. By combining two mowers – one at the front and another at the back – the width of 5 metres of grass can be covered in a single pass.
