UAB Laumetris produces and sells tractor semitrailers of various carrying capacity (from 8 to 24 tonnes). The semitrailers are self-dumping, rear tipping, convenient for the transportation of bulk cargos – such as grain, sugar beet, potatoes, etc. The transmission of the platform tipper is hydraulic. The lifting of the rear side is also driven hydraulically.
A semitrailer can be equipped with a grain unloading screw, mounted on the hydraulic operated rear door. A screw allows to lift grain to a height of 4.5m. The height of attaching the screw is 1.5m, and its length is 3.8m. The unloading screw is turned by a hydraulic motor.
The chassis of tractor semitrailers, produced by UAB Laumetris, is of leaf spring beam or sway beam type. The brakes are chosen according to the client’s request – they can be either hydraulic or pneumatic. The handbrake is mechanical.
The enterprise makes semitrailers for the transportation of animals, peat or wood chips, as well as level-bottom platforms for carrying rolls.
UAB Laumetris adjusts the body of a semitrailer to a standard chassis of the client (e.g., 2PTS-9 or 2PTS-12).
The maximum transportation speed, using tractor semitrailers, is up to 40 km/h.
