Sprayers are used for spraying chemicals and liquid mineral fertilizers in the form of water solutions on field plants and soil surface. The sprayers, manufactured and sold by UAB Laumetris, correspond to the requirements of the valid EU normative documents.
UAB Laumetris makes mounted and trailed sprayers, having the working width of 12-24 metres and tanks with a capacity of 800-3000 litres. Plastic tanks for the sprayed solution has rounded angles, which permits easy washing. A sprayer also has a tank for mixing chemicals with clean water.
Spraying booms are folding hydraulically, they have a balancing and levelling system. In case an insurmountable obstacle is met, the outside wing of a beam has an ability to bend back and return to its original position.
The attachment of the chassis is constructed in such a way that the wheels of the machine follow the ruts of the tractor wheels during operation.
In the sprayers, produced by UAB Laumetris, the spraying of the solution can be controlled by manual, electrical or computer-based method. Control of the spraying process via computer allows a more accurate and more economical spreading of the solution. Good spraying quality is achieved, using nozzles made by “Lechler” (Germany). The jets and the nozzles are protected by the boom structure in order to avoid any contact with the ground or obstacles. The available nozzles are fitted with membrane anti-dropping device, shutdown position and the ring nuts are of the “quick coupling type”.
The sprayers are equipped with pumps having the capacity from 160 to 203 l/min with a maximum pressure of 18bar (operating pressure: 1.5-8 bar). The operating speed of the sprayers is 4-10 km/h.
