Fiber hemp cutter KP-4
KP-4 is specially engineered fiber hemp cutting machine which can work on extremely high speed up to 25 km/h (16 mph). Efficiency is much higher compared to conventional and expensive forage harvesters. KP-4 has 4 harvester blades distanced in 60 cm (2 ft). Quantity of harvester blades and distance can be changed due to requirements of fiber hemp processing factory. Blades are used from German manufacturing company "Schumacher". On standard set chassis is hydraulic and power is transmitted through PTO shaft.
Stubble length of 60 cm (2 ft) is a standard length for processing fiber hemp in Lithuania. Machines were developed according the line of production in the fiber hemp manufacturing company „Natūralus pluoštas“, UAB. Individual quantity of cutters and distance can be customized adapting a machine to various standards. 6 of KP-4 machines cut more than 1500 ha (3700 ac) of fields in Lithuania and was awarded with "Innovation Novelty" in Lithuania in September, 2019.
Recommended sowing rate ~28 kg/ha / ~25 lbs/acre. Breeds: Futura, Fedora, Finola, Anka.
