Band drilling has many advantages over traditional seed drills - the biggest advantages are significantly lower soil preparation, sowing costs, saved time. There are optimal conditions created for rapid germination of plants, rapid development of the root system, moisture is raised from deep soil, and the soil capillary system is restored. Sowing directly into the stubble maintains moisture, creates better conditions for overwintering, less weeds and the surface of the fields is not affected by erosion.

During sowing, the soil surface and plant residues are cut with a special cutting disc. It is followed by vertical loosening of the soil with special chisel tines. Mineral fertilizers or liquid fertilizers are spread behind the loosening tines. The soil is then compacted with wheels roller and the seeds are sown through special sowing coulters in a 15 cm width bands, which are then pressed by the pressing rollers.

The compressive force of the front cutting discs is regulated by hydraulic cylinders, special purpose rubbers are used for protection. The protection of the loosening tines is hydropneumatic, the pressure of this system is being adjusted depending on the soil type. The drilling depth is controlled mechanically and hydraulic cylinders maintain its pressure. All wheels' cleaners are made of special highly wear-resistant Hardox steel. For sowing winter rapeseeds, the sowing coulter and the APV seeder's shaft are replaced. Row distance: 33 cm in RS-3 and 36 cm in RS-4 models.
